Summer Tea Cocktail Recipe: Matcha Honey Beer (Non-Alcoholic)

Summer calls for something crisp, refreshing, and just a little bit fancy. If you’re after a drink that’s both deliciously light and Instagram-worthy, this matcha honey non-alcoholic Beer cocktail is the perfect pick. Non-Alcoholic Matcha Honey Beer Recipe  

Ingredients (For 1 drink)  

  • 150ml chilled non-alcoholic beer (like Heineken 0.0)  
  • 1 tsp high-quality matcha powder  
  • 1 tbsp honey (or agave syrup for a vegan option)  
  • 30ml warm water (to dissolve matcha)  
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice (optional, for a citrusy kick)  
  • Garnish: lemon slice or mint sprig (optional) 

Instructions 

  • Prepare the matcha honey syrup: In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth. Stir in honey until fully combined. Set aside.  
  • Pour the chilled non-alcoholic beer into a glass, leaving space for the matcha layer.  
  • Layer the matcha: Slowly drizzle the matcha-honey mixture over the back of a spoon so it floats in the middle. If it sinks, don’t worry – just give it a gentle stir for a marbled effect.  
  • Finish with foam: If your beer has a good head, let it settle into a frothy top layer. Add a squeeze of lemon juice if you like a tangy twist.  
  • Garnish (optional): Add a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint for a fresh touch. It’s ready to serve!
