Try a Green Tea Smoothie

Sometimes it is just not awesome to wake up. You’re just not ready to greet the day, to get started. How can you get the stay started? How can you make sure it goes right? One healthy and delicious way to start your day is with a Green Tea Smoothie

Here is something to try via VancouverDesi,

Green tea smoothie with spinach, banana, almond milk or yogurt.

The trick is to make the green tea in a half a cup of boiling water – add to ice in blender along with portions to desire of the other ingredients.

I went with:  handful of spinach, half a banana, cup of almond milk, cup of green tea and some ice.  For those of you with lactose allergies – almond or coconut milk are great options.

Woman’s Day suggests mixing Green tea, frozen mixed berries, a banana, and honey for a sweeter option.

There are tons of smoothie combinations that you could try – daytime, lunchtime, evening, or even the middle of the night. Whether you go healthier or sweeter – it’s a great way to take your green tea and start your spring.
