RECIPE FOR CINNAMON TEA
- 2 cups of water
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks
- Black Tea Bags
- sugar
- lemon (optional)
In a teapot or saucepan, combine the cinnamon sticks and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 12-15 minutes. Bring back to a boil and pour into cups with a teabag. If you like your tea sweet, add two teaspons of sugar . If you prefer your tea really strong2 teabags. Lemon is entirely optional.
So add cinnamon to your tea and you’re ready to have something both sweet and spicy. Although it is springtime, the nights are still cool and there are still rainy days when you just need that hot cup of tea, and with cinnamon, you can have that much more heat, without burning your tongue off.
